Me! About 50 pounds and 10 years ago. Started in Ft. Wayne Indiana post office as a PTF clerk, then transferred to Peru in April 93 as a TE carrier, then a PTF carrier. Transferred to the clerk side and am currently a Sales and Service Associate (window clerk)

Sherry is a city carrier and has been for many years. Photo is undated. Sherry also landscaped the front of the post office building in the summer of 2008. Hope to have a picture of that on here also.

LaTanya transferred in from Chicago. She was a clerk for a few years and married the current Postmaster at the time, Ray Eddington. She transferred to Logansport in a "trade" with Larry Foster. I don't believe she works for the postal service at this time. Undated photo.

Welcome to the Peru Indiana 46970 Post Office employees blog. We will be posting pictures and information about those who have and still work at the post office here in Peru. However, we do need your help in completing the posts. If you have pictures, newspaper articles or any information about the Peru Indiana 46970 Post Office, please submit them to us and we will enter that information here.

We are trying to compile a site that honors those that work and to not forget those that did work here. We do not know the dates that many of the pictures were taken or know the names of those that are in the pictures! Any information will be greatly appreciated.
